About Jonathan Sterling

Jonathan is a master of "Spatial Narrative." He views interior design not as a decorative layer, but as a structural necessity. With over a decade of experience in high-end residential and commercial projects, he specializes in creating interiors that mirror the clean, linear logic of the building's exterior. His signature style is defined by a disciplined monochromatic palette and the strategic use of natural light to define room volumes.

Core Responsibilities

  • Spatial Logic Mapping Analyzing floor plans to ensure a seamless flow between private and social zones.
  • Material Curation Sourcing high-contrast, sustainable materials—from matte obsidian steel to bone-white marble—that align with the studio's aesthetic.
  • Acoustic & Sensory Design Implementing hidden technical solutions to ensure minimalist spaces are acoustically balanced and comfortable.
  • FF&E Oversight Managing the selection and placement of Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment to ensure they function as extensions of the architecture.

Team Leadership

As the Lead Interior Curator, Jonathan mentors our junior design staff in the art of "Restraint." He leads the interior division with a focus on collaborative problem-solving, ensuring that the interior team’s vision is perfectly synchronized with the Lead Architect’s structural plans. He is responsible for maintaining the studio’s design standards across all projects, fostering a culture where logic and aesthetic beauty are treated as one.
